Transmission durations
Calculating transmission duration for GOES 300/1200 bps messages provides the transmission durations, calculated from the number of bytes in a message. GOES self-timed-message maximum data bytes and assigned time-slot duration provides the maximum data bytes for an assigned time slot duration. Users need to convert the data points they want to send to number of bytes.
