Screen Properties

Screen Name

Specifies the screen name that will be used on the screen tab and in the project tree.

Color Theme

Determines whether the screen will use a light or dark theme.

NOTE: Choosing a color theme will automatically set all the screen properties. If changes are then made to these properties, the Color Theme drop down will change to a blank name indicating that the properties have been customized.

Screen Background

Background Color

Displays a list of colors from which to select a color to be used for the screen background.

Background Image

Show Image

Determines whether a background image is visible for the screen. Check the box to make the background image visible. If the box is not checked, the background image will not be visible.

Image

Lists the name of the image that will be used for the background. The image is selected by pressing the browse button to the right of the field or by typing in a new file name directly. Valid image types are GIF, BMP, JPG, PNG, and TIF.

RTMC comes with a library of images. If you have created custom images that you want to use, copy them into C:\Campbellsci\Lib\RTMCMediaLib directory.

Position

Select Center, Tile, or Stretch:

Center - The original image size is maintained. The image is centered on the screen.

Tile – The original image size is maintained. It is repeated both vertically and horizontally to fill the screen.

Stretch – The original image is stretched both vertically and horizontally to fill the screen. The aspect ratio is not necessarily maintained.

Component Backgrounds

Default Component Backgrounds

Displays a dialog box from which you can select the background color (solid color, gradient, or transparent), border, and edge.

Text

Sets the default text properties for all components.

Color

Sets the color that will be used for the text. Press the browse button next to the field to select a color.

Size

Sets the size that will be used for the text.

Font

Displays a dialog box from which you can select the font type, style, size, effects and color to be used for the data value.

Apply different font for units

Select this check box to set a different font for units using Units Color, Size, and the Unit Font button. Clear this check box to use the same font for the data values and units.

Apply to All Screens

Applies the specified screen properties to all screens.
