DMS
There are two primary sections in the DMS (Digital Messaging Signs) app: Sign List and Stored Messages. Sign List allows for management of the Variable Message Boards (VMBs). Stored Messages allows for management of the predefined messages stored in CAMPBELL CLOUD that can be sent to the VMBs.
Depending on the access level of a user, they may or may not see all the options outlined below. Some options within the selections may not be available to all users.
Message previews and fonts only apply to VMBs manufactured by Ortana. As the DMS app was originally developed for Ortana VMBs, these features only apply to those boards. Other boards (such as Ver-Mac) do not support the fonts listed in the DMS app. As a result, they will display the message using the boards integrated default font (ignoring the font selection in the DMS app) which will also cause the message preview to be inaccurate on those signs.
