90-day CampbellCloud trial

Campbell Scientific offers a 90-day CampbellCloud trial allowing new organizations to explore the platform before committing to paid subscriptions.

How it works

The 90-day trial applies only to newly created CampbellCloud organizations. Existing organizations created before the trial launch are not eligible.
Any new organization is automatically enrolled in the trial upon account creation—no special actions required.
The trial countdown is displayed in the top bar of your organization's CampbellCloud account.
During the trial, users can onboard and activate compatible data sources.
When activating a device, users must select a subscription, but:
- Subscriptions will not be billed during the trial.
- Subscription start dates are automatically set to the day after the trial ends.
If your organization does not wish to continue after the trial, all active subscriptions must be deactivated before the trial ends to avoid charges.

No. Users can simply create a CampbellCloud organization account, and the 90-day trial begins automatically.

Subscriptions must be selected for activated data sources, but no billing occurs until after the trial.
Organizations that do not wish to continue must deactivate all subscriptions before the trial ends to avoid charges.

The 90-day trial is per organization, not per user or data source.

Any user within the organization (with the appropriate permissions) can onboard and activate data sources.
Data sources activated at different times during the 90-day trial will have varying trial durations, for example…
- Activated on Day 1 → 90-day trial
- Activated with 60 days of trial remaining → 60-day trial
- Activated with 10 days of trial remaining → 10-day trial

At the end of the trial period, any active subscriptions will be automatically billed, just like a standard subscription trial.

Billing will be processed on or after the first of the next month after the trial period ends, through CampbellCloud’s standard billing mechanisms.
