EZSetup Wizard

PC400 simplifies the task of setting up your datalogger by providing a wizard that walks you through the steps required to define the datalogger type, its settings, and its communication link settings. The EZSetup Wizard is launched automatically the first time PC400 is opened. If you close the wizard and want to add a new station, press the add button ( ) from PC400's main window. The EZSetup Wizard's Introduction window is displayed.

The left side of the window, titled Progress, provides an indication of where you are in the setup process when working through the wizard. The blue arrow indicates the screen you are currently working within. The right side of the window changes with each screen, and provides the fields that should be filled out with a brief description of each. The buttons at the bottom of the window provide access to a help page for each step, and move you through each screen of the wizard (Previous and Next) or allow you to cancel the setup process (Cancel).

Proceed setting up your station by completing the fields on each of the wizard screens and then pressing Next to move on to the next step. If you need additional information when completing the fields on a screen press Help. If Nextis disabled, ensure that all fields are completed on the current wizard screen.

You can back up through the wizard screens by pressing Previous.
